How Brenda Bay's Bath & Body started ...
Brenda Bay's Bath & Body is the brainchild of Tricia Millar, an aesthetician, masseuse, and avid soap and toiletries maker who is on a quest to share her love of natural, handmade bath & body products made without the inclusion of harsh chemicals to every one.
All of our soap is made from 100% goat's milk [no water added]. They are cold processed with quality oils and butters such as olive oil, coconut oil, soy oil and cocoa butter. Essential oils (fragrance), micas and pigments (color) which are natural minerals, and other herbal ingredients are then added which lends to the dense, creamy lather that our soaps are known for. Our soaps have no chemical preservatives.
This company began as a hobby, but great feedback from family, friends, and workmates convinced her to share her high quality products with others.
Commercially produced soaps were found to be drying, and harsh to her skin, so a recipe was formulated that would help to counter-act the effects of the Caribbean sun.
Brenda Bay's Bath & Body manufactures soaps which retain the naturally occuring glycerin that is a by-product of the soap making process. In commercial soaps, this natural glycerin is removed, and re-sold to consumers as glycerin, thereby making more money for the commercial soap companies.
Milk soaps made by Brenda Bay's Bath & Body leaves skin well moisturized, and because of the addition of the goat's milk, the soaps have a pH that is very close to that of the skin, so the skin is less likely to feel dry and itchy after bathing.
Persons who experience dry, itchy skin, and those who have skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, can also use our soaps because they are 100% natural, and made with the needs of the customer in mind.
We hope that you develop a love for our products, as much as we enjoy making them for you.
Remember, Pure beauty starts here.
Sincerely,
Tricia A. Millar
